Too Much TV

Stayed up too late last night, watched way too much TV
And then the strangest feeling came over me
Whoo hoo hoo
Felt like I was just a kid
But them things I saw going on,
Wasn’t like anything like me or my friends ever did.

TV shows these days all claim to be reality.
The narcissistic games of the famous, the funny and the sexy
Whoo hoo hoo
And the sports are so extreme
But no matter what they show going on,
There’s a lot left that’s unseen.

Now have you ever seen the meanest mean of the machine spewing shite in the extreme of some convoluted dream? And would you like to know just how far someone will go to be standing toe to toe with some cultural Nazi.
Whoo hoo hoo
Yea I bet he thinks that everything is relative.
But if that’s what’s really going on,
There’s not much more I can give

Give it away, give it away, give it away now
Give it away, give it away, give it away now
Give it away, give it away, give it away now
There’re giving it away on that girls gone wild
Whoo hoo hoo
To every adolescent girl or boy
And before they know what’s going on,
They’ve lost their parent’s pride and joy.

Blew up my TV guess I’m just like my old man
And now I realize I’m damn glad that I am
Whoo hoo hoo
Generations they come, they go
And what this one gets going on,
There’s no way the next will ever ever ever know

Stayed up too late last night, watched way too much TV
Stayed up too late last night, watched way too much TV
