while you were sleeping
i had this stupid dream
it crawled into my head
and shook the world with silent screams
my brain was almost fried
by what my heart refused to glean

and then the floor died
the cat next door lied

there was never any time
to make sense from all of this
the apples killed the tree
simply by refusing to not exist
an ogre on the news
was living off his bloody fist

it was a weird scene
it shook my beard clean

like the hornets in the shed
my mind became a random rage
and stumbled with some blind
and foolish people from their cage
the last thing i had wanted
was the first to hit stage

just give me pizza
and a spliff to calm my mood
god help me i can’t find the truth
it needs way better food

so please do send some help

or give a call at least
it’s a brutal fucked up mess in there
and no one
has fed the beast
