the age of lazy nazis is over
and now
there’s a quandary in question
albeit should clearly not be so

it’s so sad

to fight for the righteous cause
used to mean something
but i guess
time being what it is
we will inevitably find
that it means something quite different

meanwhile
we keep fighting because nazis never did get lazy
they just got patient

and now we’re the lazy ones
fighting for our right to exist but as all us non-nazis know how legitimate that cause is

so obvious so many of us
kept hope and change alive much longer
than we should have
gone back and tried it a different way but…

but perhaps that rubicon got crossed back when we used to think nazis would get lazy
