when the very idea
of finding words for it
becomes ridiculous
amusingly absurd
puerile even

when the only technique
for managing the profundity of it
renders a wordsmith speechless
beside one’s self with joy
all verklempt indeed

yet a single cursory look
at the unfathomable depths
contained within
this simple expression

clearly articulates
all possible movement

did that make any sense at all
since the truth is that i am still reeling
barely able to process this reality
this unprecedented blessing

beyond my comprehension
much less my limited abilities
loquacious
