the greatest adventure
can not be know
until it’s shown
and even then it will not be clear

it’s an on-going ever-morphing
manifestation of mighty physical forces
and spiritually significant sources
migrating from all possible directions
except for this one
right here

for here is where it goes
as that greatest of adventures
always hits our troubled traveler
smack dab in the nose

the greatest adventure
becomes the now
don’t ask me how
if i knew that it would be over

for as my body starts pushing up clover
i have reason to believe in something more
that the part this whole thing was all meant for
can only be realized
when this one
is done
