yesterday i wrote a poem
or a song i’m still not sure
it rumbled round my morning mind
still sleepy and demure

it had some lovely lines i know
but somehow left me wanting
and my sweet love i always share
did concur ‘twas daunting

and so it was deleted
that stumbled missed-step musing
as this morning’s light confirms
today’s far less confusing

but i do like the photo
