San Francisco Airport is as good a place as any to begin this, the more bloggy beginning of…
Brian’s Epic Summer Journey 2018
I’m finding that there will be times when insufficient bandwidth seems to interfere with my ability to upload. I just now posted the photo I took yesterday as I walked from the house in Waimanalo, down to the road to meet Kev, my ride.
I think I’ll take the time now (as much for my own sake as yours dear reader) to lay out the bare bones of my plan so far. Yes, it’s a bit dry but perhaps it’ll give context to what may be a mostly pictorial blog at times.
Today I’m on my way to Portland. My plane is scheduled to arrive at 9:00 am. Once I get into town I’ll eventually be meeting up with a wonderful musician friend Hawkins Wright. I’ll be riding with him and his lovely family (whenever they are ready) to the big weekend bash at Sarah’s place.
Very cool!
Then on Sunday, it’ll be back to Portland where I’ll hang with a few friends n such for a few days before getting on a midnight plane to Minneapolis. Karen will get me at the airport there Tuesday morning and on Wednesday, she and I will drive down to Rochester.
After a few days there seeing family and friends (Karen will drive back up to the cities as she must work the rest of that week) one of my friends will take me over to Rio, Wisconsin where I’ll hang with Mom and the sibs. Around August 1st or so, I’ll be heading up to Hammond, Wisconsin where the rest of my time will include fun times with old college pals (including a way cool festival my way fun artist pal Thea and I have planned) and spending some quality time with Karen.
Bare bones indeed!
Know (dear reader) that there are far funner things afoot. The above is just an outline you see.
I just thought I’d kill some time here in this airport and besides…
The yoga room is closed.
